Barbara L. Santos
(nee Everman) On December 4, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 82. Devoted mother of Cheryl Santos, Karen Potocki (Gregory), Manuel Santos (Miriam), Jennifer Gramble and the late Richard Santos. Loving grandmother of Sarah, Richard, Hannah, Sophia, Mackenzie, Riley, and Addison. Dear sister of Karen Clapp.
Barbara enjoyed different things throughout her life. She loved her weekly bowling league and games with friends and family. She enjoyed a great game of Pinochle with her favorite partner Bob or playing some dominos. Over the years her taste in TV changed. When we were younger she always had some sort of crime/police drama on but over the last few years it was Hallmark Movies and HGTV. Two other passions were coloring and reading. Barbara loved reading. Her taste in books changed throughout her life but when she got into the romance genre everything changed. How many children can say that their mom fell down the stairs of the subway because she was reading 50 Shades of Gray as she walked. And it was her third time reading it.
There is so much to remember Barbara for: her love for her kids and grandkids. She was so proud of all of them. She loved her mom, sister, and brother with everything she had. She always had an open door policy. All of our friends were always welcome to the house and if family needed a place to go, Barbara’s door was always open. Her passion for Philly Sports. She was so angry during the 2023 Phillies playoffs that she threw her walker across the room. But mostly she will be remembered as Mommy and Grandma.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday, December 15th, 5:00-7:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara’s memory may be made to the Diabetes Foundation, Inc.
