Barbara Jeanne Urso

(nee Kilbride) On January 8, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 63. Beloved wife of James. Devoted mother of Erika Deutsch (Joseph), John (Hope) and the late James Michael, Jr. Loving grandmother of Salvatore, Iris, and August. Dear sister of John and William Kilbride, and Mary Catherine Vandenboom.

Barbara was born and raised in Philadelphia, a 1979 graduate of Nazareth Academy Highschool for Girls. She enjoyed a 30+ year career at Temple University, Hospital and Health System followed by her most enjoyable 10+ years at Opus Search Partners. She was an avid Philly sports fan, enjoyed a wide array of music, the arts and theater.  She was married to her husband for 40 years. She was dedicated to her children and grandchildren who brought her the greatest joy. She will be greatly missed by her faithful chihuahua, Kayla Marie, who never left her side.

Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday, 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.

In honor of Barbara’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, her family would encourage any donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
