Born in South Philadelphia, he graduated from Bishop Neumann High School. Throughout his life, Anthony remained deeply connected to his roots, embracing his love for Philadelphia sports.
An avid bowler and golfer, Anthony enjoyed both the camaraderie and competition of these activities. His generosity was evident in the way he shared his plumbing skills, always ready to lend a hand with a leaky sink or clogged drain for friends and family.
Anthony also had a true passion for baking, with many raving about his famous carrot cake, a delicious treat that brought joy to those who were lucky enough to taste it.
He spent decades working at the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard, beginning his career as a pipefitter before transitioning into the Safety Department, where he worked until his retirement. His dedication and work ethic were evident in all that he did.
One of Anthony’s greatest joys was spending time with his nine grandchildren. He relished in caring for them when they were little and loved hosting big family dinners, where laughter and love filled the air. His bond with his grandchildren was a special treasure that will never be forgotten.
Above all, Anthony’s presence in this world was a gift, especially to his family. If anyone needed anything, Anthony was always there to lend a hand. His loyalty, warmth, and kindness will forever be cherished by all who knew him.
