Anne Marie Smith

(nee LePore) On January 21, 2020 of Blackwood.  Age 89.  Beloved wife of Richard J.  Devoted mother of Anne Marie Sweeney (Andrew Winkler) and David R. Smith.  Loving grandmother of Julia, Frank, David, Madeline and Katherine.  Proud great-grandmother of Santino.

Anne Marie Smith, born in Philadelphia, PA January 27th, 1930, beloved wife, mother, grandmother and friend. Anne Marie was a caring sister to Marie and Norma. She grew up loving the beach and time at the shore. Married the love of her life, Richard J. Smith who was always by her side. Anne Marie and Richard loved to travel and visited many countries. Proud parents of Anne Marie and David, she was a devoted mother. Anne Marie loved to cook and entertain, friends and family finding joy in her events. She loved her grandchildren, Julia, Frank & David and her step-grandchildren Madeline and Katherine. Exceptionally proud of her great-grandson Santino. She spent ample amounts of time being an active grandmother, creating memories with her grandchildren that they will always cherish. Anne Marie was an avid reader and an intellectual; always progressive in her thoughts and politics and witty with her sense of humor, even in her later years. She lived an extraordinary life and has touched the lives of so many. She will be missed and honored in all of her family’s and friends’ memories.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Saturday 2:00-3:30 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp.  Funeral service 3:30 PM.
