Angelo Di Bartolo, passed on September 2, 2020, of Smyrna, DE. Age 74. Beloved husband of Gail M. (nee Senecal). Devoted father of Angelo (Stephanie), Adam (Pamela), Duane Hughes and Valerie Amaradio (Philip). Loving grandfather of Dominic, Alexander, Nicolas, Peter, Mario, Juliana, Natalie, and Sophia. Dear brother of Patricia Bandura (James) and Carol Weidmann (James). Loved by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Angelo was the owner and operator of Cohens Fashion Optical for 30 years and took great pride in his craft. His unique bond with his employees is something he cherished, and those friendships lasted a lifetime. He was most happy when sitting on a beach with his favorite beach buddy, Gail, and a drink in hand. He never turned down a good party and when dancing was involved you better watch out!! Angelo loved being surrounded by his friends and family and was known to brag about his children and grandchildren to anyone who would listen.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 9:30 – 11:30 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:30 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Angelo’s memory to www.williams-syndrome.org.
