Alexander Colella

On November 25, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 78. Beloved husband of Eileen (nee Andreozzi). Devoted father of Alexander Colella (Jeanette) and Denise Bennis (Joseph). Adoring grandfather of AJ (Elizabeth), Luke, Joseph, Vincent, Hunter, and Dominic. Dear brother of Nina Berger, and the late Silvia Antonelli, Luigi Colella, Carmella Faralli, Dominic Colella, Gildo Colella and Antoinette Centritto. Cherished son of the late Michele and Juliette (nee Iannocone) Colella. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.

Alex and Eileen have been a beautiful example of love and marriage for 58 years. Alex enjoyed the moments he spent with his family who meant the world to him. He was a master carpenter who worked at Septa for 30 years. His woodworking skills were impressive, creating anything from crafts to custom furniture with his hands of gold. He enjoyed going to the casino, watching old movies, and Philadelphia sports teams. He was a hard-working proud Italian, enjoyed conversations, and a one of kind man who will be truly missed.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Monday 9:00 – 10:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:30 am at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, Washington Twp. Interment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.

In honor of Alexander’s life, in lieu of flowers or other acts of sympathy, his family would encourage any donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

What a huge loss. It's very sad. I spent a lot of time with him and know first hand what a good man he was. My deepest condolences and sympathy to his wife, Eileen, his children Alex and Denise, his grandchildren and all who loved him. The world was a better place with him in it.R.I.P Al. 😢 💔

Loved learning wood working skills from him. Working with him to build my entertainment center/ shelving was a great experience. Awesome man!
