My dearest Al, I have been at a loss for words since I found out about your passing on Saturday. I write this with tears in my eyes and a very heavy heart. I have known you since I was a little girl and am truly going to miss you so very much. You have touched so many lives more than you probably know. You were a doctor like no other. The word amazing wouldn't even begin to describe the kind of doctor & surgeon you were. It wasn't just your job, it was part of who you were and it showed in the care you gave to every one of your patients. You were unbelievably smart, caring, compassionate, funny, down-to-earth and an all-around nice guy. Your smile was contagious and your hugs were the best! You made everyone feel like a part of your family. I can never begin to thank you enough for all you did for me and my mom over the years. If it wasn't for you, the tumor in my tibia would have gone unfound and God only knows what would have happened. I owe so much to you. You will forever remain in my prayers and in my heart and you will never, ever be forgotten. You will live on in the hearts of the many people who loved you so much! You truly were one in a billion! May you rest in peace, love and happiness always. XOXOXO To the D'Angelantonio Family, I want to express my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to all of you. The loss of such a wonderful person like Al will impact the lives of so many people who loved him so much. I know the pain all of you are going through. It seems unbearable at times, but your faith and Al's love will get you through. Keep all of those wonderful memories you have together alive each day. Just know the love he had for everyone will never be lost and he will never be far from your sides. He will most definitely be remembered fondly and he will live on in all of our hearts. Your family will forever remain in my prayers and may God bless and comfort each of you with His love and strength. Sincerely, Lisa Blichaszi

Dr. D, you meant the world to us. You took care of Megan and we will never forget how much time you spent, effort in speaking to her and making her understand and calming her fears. Going to every possible effort to make her smile even getting her purple bandages. Drawing on her feet in her special color purple. So we light this purple candle for you and promise to never ever forget your smile ..your hugs and gift of pain free feet you gave our special girl. It was years of effort and surgeries and house calls. Your an angel. xoxoxo would do anything for a chance to say thank you. xoxo
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

My prayers and condolences go out to D'angelantonio family. Dr.D performed my foot surgery this past November. I had been in emence pain for the last year, having no idea what I did to my foot. After seeing numerous doctors and many MRI not one doctor could tell me what was wrong and made me feel as though I was crazy. I felt defeated and thought I'd always have to live wih this horrid pain. I gave it one more chance with one moe doctor. After walking into Dr.Ds office and meeting him for five minutes I felt estatic. Not only did he find my torn tendon that eveyone missed, he made me feel so comfortable. He was unlike any other doctor I have ever had. Over the weeks that passed At my appoinemnts my dad and him found out the knew the same people and he was always chattig it up. We connected with him like a family member. He was not only an amazing doctor but an amazing person. He has definitely changed my life not only for curing my foot, but he has showed me that there are caring, personable, incredible doctors, people out there! I wanted his family to know that from a person you have never met, Dr. D was a great person, someone that Iam glad that I had the chance to know. He is in a bette place, a place of no pain! I know I'll see him again. God Bless!

Dr. D assisted with my foot surgery back in November 2012, he was wonderful and it was a pleasure to have been a patient of Regional Foot & Ankle Specialists. I work in the medical field and had the honor of seeing him outside of the office and he was one of the most down to earth people I've ever come in contact with. My condolences to his family, friends, co-workers/partners, and staff.

My favorite memory of Dr. D was right before my surgery. As I was wheeled into the operating room very anxious, I heard Dr.D's voice singing along to the Christmas music playing in the background. He touched my arm and said, "Nothing to worry about. You'll take the best nap you've ever had!" He was not only a talented and gifted doctor, but he was always considerate and conscientious of his patient's feelings and their families. My thoughts and prayers go out to the D'Angelantonio family during this time.
