Albert L. Shultz,
On December 4, 2020, of Williamstown, formerly of Washington Twp. Age 76. Beloved husband of Barbara (nee Green). Devoted father of Christopher (Annie), Matthew (Leslie) and Adam (Joy). Loving grandfather of Christopher John, Casey, Carson, Sarah, Matthew, Kane, Dylan and Skye. Dear brother of Eleanor DeMarco and the late William. He is also survived by many cherished nieces and nephews and numerous cousins.
Born on December 25th 1943 and raised in South Philadelphia, he moved to Washington Township in 1973 where he resided for 43 years. He and his loving wife Barbara raised 3 sons who all graduated from Washington Township High School. Born on Christmas day, it became his favorite time of year. Often confused as Santa by his grandkids because of his white beard and his collection of more than 1,000 Santa’s which he would display in his house at Christmastime. He loved to work with his hands and his creativity came out in his different creations. Especially, the Santa’s that he made for friends and family. He was also a devoted member of Apostles Lutheran church in Turnersville where he sang in the choir, taught Sunday school and served on the church council. He loved to travel to Cape May with his wife and friends. He also loved food and would take spontaneous late night trips to the White House in Atlantic City or for a big meal at The Maplewood Inn with friends. His ultimate passion was showering his grandchildren with love. For someone who avoided the spotlight he will forever be a shining star in the memories of his friends, extended family, sons and devoted wife of over 52 years.
Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday 5:00-7:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 7:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Albert’s memory may be made to Apostle’s Lutheran Church, 4401 Blackhorse Pike, Turnersville, NJ 08012.
