Albert D. Guida

On December 8^th, 2023 Albert David Guida of Williamstown was called home to be with the Lord. Albert was a devoted father to Connor J. Guida. A beloved son of David Guida and Linda Guida (Dave). Beloved brother to Ashley Guida (Andrew) and Ariel Guida (Ricky).  Loving grandson of Lucille Melchiorre and the late Alfred Melchiorre, Louis Guida and Ruth Minix.  Loved Uncle to Cecilia Alonso.

Albert was the comic relief of our family, his never ‘too serious’ attitude always kept us laughing.  Even as a young boy his energy and presence were always felt.  Growing up Albert was active playing outside with the neighborhood kids, riding bikes, swimming in our pool and playing with his two older sisters.

What seemed like overnight, Albert turned into a tall handsome young man who decided he wanted to enlist in the Marines as a rifleman.  Becoming a Marine was one of Albert’s greatest accomplishments.  After the Marines Albert began to work alongside his father to learn the trade of carpentry that came very natural to him.  He took pride in working down the shore and mastering small side jobs.

When Albert became a father, he instantly kicked into full dad mode. Sleepless nights, diapers and bottles quickly became second nature.  Albert made it look so easy.  Connor soon known as “Chunkus” began traveling everywhere with him.

Albert enjoyed riding around in his truck listening to every genre of music with his son.  There was nothing he enjoyed more than a homecooked meal and a cold, tall glass of chocolate milk.

Albert didn’t have to go far to be surrounded by his loved ones, coming from a big, loud Italian family there was always somewhere to “pop in” and visit.  We will always remember him by his inquisitive personality and the way he loved to laugh and joke.  We will continue to love and miss Albert dearly, while honoring his legacy through his son Connor.

Albert’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family.
