Adele M. DeLuca
(nee Doyle) On December 24, 2023 of Washington Twp. Age 90. Beloved wife of the late John. Devoted mother of Adele Riiff (Joseph), John DeLucas, Joseph DeLucas, Dennis DeLucas (Kay), Debra Schnaare (Tim), Dan DeLucas, and Donna Hartzell (Bruce). Loving grandmother of Joseph (Lindsay, Lauren (Robert), James, Lisa Rose (John), Josh, Jaime, Dennis (Lauren), Ryan (Danielle), Alysa (Brandon), Kaylee, Justin (Megan), and Jessica. Proud great-grandmother of Darwin, Ireland, Nathan, Nicholas, Cameron, Dylan, Sophia, Juliette, Robert, Ryan, Isabelle, and Michael. Dear sister of Joseph Doyle (Nancy), Jane Ann McLaughlin (Bill), and the late Eleanor Anderson (the late Joe), James “Bud” Doyle (the late Dorothy), Edward Doyle (the late Pat), Francis Doyle (the late Lynn), Vincent “Jerry” Doyle (the late Marlene), and Joan Carbo (Charlie). Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Adele loved going to Acorn Campground in Green Creek, NJ, since 1975. She loved walking the boardwalk in Wildwood and marching behind the bands and parades, almost as much as she loved riding the tram car. She loved to be with her family. She was also loving and kind to strangers and wanted to give hugs to everyone and make them smile and brighten their day.
She loved dancing, singing, playing the piano, organ and guitar. She was always on the move and loved working outside, sweeping, raking, mowing, and using a chainsaw.
Adele will always be remembered as being the life of the party and wanting everyone to smile and be happy. Her famous quote was “Everything’s Good”.
Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation 10:30 – 11:30 AM Saturday, January 6th at SS. Peter & Paul Roman Catholic Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM. Inurnment Gloucester County Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Adele’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or your favorite charity.
