Wilson J. Edwards

On March 18, 2018 of Glassboro, formerly of South Philadelphia. Age 80. Beloved husband of Helen E. (nee Keenan). Devoted father of Maureen Aiello (Joe) and James Wilson Edwards (Barbara). Loving grandfather of Catherine, Joey, Christopher, Ryan and Caitlyn.

Wilson was a big man with a big heart, he was incredibly intelligent. He was an expert on many subjects, especially the royal family. He was an avid reader of books, he loved mysteries. He loved music, especially the Andrew Sisters. Wilson had a wonderful green thumb, he loved horticulture. No one could ever duplicate Christmas the way Wilson celebrated it. Wilson made memories with his family that will live on forever. He loved old black and white movies, but most of all Wilson loved Helen to the moon and back.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:00 am at Mary Mother of Mercy Parish/Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 500 Greentree Road, Glassboro. Interment, Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Wilson’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
