To the Family of Tyrone, our most heartfelt condolences & prayers go out to you. I first met Ty on the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Ingham whec-35. I was sent there on a temporary assignment as the ship's corpsman. My first impression of him was this big bear like image of a man. Not knowing whether I would get along with him or not. To my surprise we got to like each other and become friends through out the rest of our Coast Guard careers and into our civilian lives. Evan though, we didn't live next door to each other in the same neighborhood, we managed to find the time to call one another. We always went down memory lane and caught up with the newest news of the day. Ty was a very good friend, kind, giving, great sense of humor. It was an honor for me when he made me his friend. You could not ask for a better person to call friend. When you have friends like Tyrone you are richer then you can ever imagine. God Bless you all!

A friend for 47 years and a Coast Guard buddy, is now gone but will never be forgotten. Ty was in my wedding party and I in his and we have been friends ever since. God speed my friend.

Prayers go out to family and friends for a person who will be sadly missed. He was an inspiration to all that knew him. Rest in peace Tyrone.

We are so very sorry for the loss of your father. With sympathy, you are in our prayers and in our hearts. Ty was a dear friend for many years and will be very much missed. His spirit will always be with us in fond memory.

We send our deepest sympathy to the family. Ty was a wonderful man. He's been a family friend my whole life. I have one particular memory of Ty and I country line dancing at a wedding. What a riot we had. Not to mention, that he's given my kids lots of Coast Guard memorabilia that will be treasured. We'll miss him greatly.

Sorry I cannont attend the viewing for Tyrone. He was a good friend. And I can always count on his support in any thing I did. I can go on and on but I will not and just say we all lost a good friend.

So sorry to hear of Tyrones' death. I am so glad Kathie and he got to spend so much time together this past summer. They had so much fun sharing soooo much in common. He will be missed by so many!!
