My summer trips to New Jersey from Los Angeles every year were incomplete without a visit to one of your restaurants to have a wonderful meal and see your family. Eating a meal there was more like coming to a dear friends house for dinner than going to a restaurant. From Stephanie's kind and welcoming personality (no matter how busy, she was never flustered) to our visits to the kitchen or back room so that Lila could run around with Gigi and Sophia are part of our precious Summer memories and will always be special in our hearts. Words can't express how heartbroken we are and our thoughts and prayers are with you.
Much Love,
Carey Smith
To Nick, Sage, Vincent, Sophia, Gigi and the Highley Family...we feel so fortunate to have known Stephanie and your family over the past number of years. We've eaten at your restaurants from the early years in Ventnor, so came to know all of you, even before the girls were born. Our granddaughter, Lila, shared a few, fun play-dates with Sophia and Gigi at our house and we still giggle at the antics of three little girls playing dress-up. Stephanie was always so open about "loaning them out" so Lila could have New Jersey playmates when she came to visit. Stephanie, always "grace under fire" in a busy restaurant...having just the perfect combination of gracious host, but definitely a bit of a wicked sense of humor. We will miss her deeply and send our heartfelt prayers to you as you grieve your loss.
Sincerely,
Dave and Pat Smith
Sad. Such a devastating loss to your family, and to all of us who knew her as the smiling, warm hostess at your restaurants.

To the Highley and LoBianco families - I am so sorry to hear of Stephanie's passing. I went to High School with her and remember her as a very friendly and outgoing girl with a great sense of humor. I see that she went on to have a beautiful family and a successful restaurant business. It saddens me that her life on earth was cut too short, but I hope her memories live on through her children. Thoughts and prayers to all of you during this difficult time.
Sincerely,

Nick, Sage, Vincent, Sophia and Gigi,
Our thoughts and prayer are with your family. It was shocking to hear of Steph's passing. Her time here was cut way too short. As they say "only the good die young"

To the LoBianco Family, Rod and I wish to express our sincere condolences for you loss. Steph was a wonderful, kind, hard working woman that we fell in love the first time we met her in the Margate restaurant. We would always love to see the girls follow her around the restaurant, learning the business at an early age. We are truly saddened by her passing! Love, Rod and Mary Beth Aluise
Please accept our deepest condolences for your family's loss.
