On September 22, 2019, of Washington Twp. Age 64. Beloved wife of the late Peter J. Loving mother of Peter J., III (Jacquelyn), Kimberly Hulme (Dave), and Stephanie Murphy (Ryan). Devoted grandmother of Cole, Colin, Audrey, and Miles. Dear sister of Antoinette Trzaska, Dorothy Eksterowicz and Stanley Szymendera, Jr.

Marie graduated from La Salle University and was an 8th grade teacher in Philadelphia and Washington Township for the past 43 years. She loved spending time with her family and especially enjoyed spoiling her four grandchildren. She will be remembered as a great friend to many and she gave to numerous charitable causes, always willing to lend a hand to those in need. Marie enjoyed reading, traveling, spending time at the beach and was an avid Philadelphia sports fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Thursday 7:00 –9:00 PM and Friday 8:15 – 9:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing.

Donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Temple Lung Center, Temple University Hospital, 3401 N. Broad St. Ambulatory Care Center, 5th floor Philadelphia, PA 19140

Marie was a caring friend and devoted Mother and Grandmother. She was a supportive colleague who gave us a calm voice of reason in an often sea of chaos, a shoulder to lean on, and plenty of warmth for a non-hugger. She was our jeans day rallier, lottery ticket giver, eighth grade party planner, food aficionado, quiet observer, and wisdom provider. Marie may be gone, but she will not be forgotten.
