Maggie volunteered with her husband at St. Joseph’s Church in West Orange and in a community soup kitchen. Her most cherished role came later in life when she became “Grandma Maggie” to her three grandchildren. She loved hosting her extended family, friends, and neighbors in her home, and enjoyed several decades of memorable family vacations in Barnegat Light, the Catskills, and the Poconos.
