(nee Braxton) On September 14, 2025, of Washington Twp. Age 65. Beloved wife of the late Wilbert Meredith III. Devoted daughter of Shirley Braxton and the late Rudolph Sr. Dear sister of Rudolph Braxton Jr. (Gail) and Marc Anthony Braxton. Loving stepmother of Christopher Harris, Anthony Goodman, and Wilbert Andre Meredith. Step-grandmother of Crystal and Kayden. Loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and many sister friends. Survived by her best friend next to Jesus Shawn Brown.
Karen was loved by all whom had the pleasure of meeting her. She loved dancing, listening to music, shopping, butterflies and most of all she loved the Lord.
Karen worked diligently as a customer service representative for many years. She retired from PHH Mortgage Company so she could care for her husband the love of her life.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her visitation Saturday, October 4th 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM.

My heartfelt condolences to the entire Braxton family. Such endearing memories with my cousin Katen sharing the same residence until 1968, a year at Martha Washington then some years at U-City! Cousins are pretty much your first friends. Wishing we all had a better relationship later, but we all know that life gets in the way sometimes. I am still in disbelief. I can’t believe she’s gone. Karen has been a very good loyal friend and sister to me for over 40 years. We met at INA/CIGNA in the 80s. It was there we formed a friendship and bond with five other ladies and we were inseparable. We were known as the “Cigna Sisters”. We ate lunch together everyday, we laughed together, prayed together, cried together and shared each other’s joys and pain. We had many years of gatherings with her and Wil. I will miss my dear friend and sister but she is no longer in pain and I know she is happy because she is with her Lord and savior and her beloved husband Wil. Rest well my dear Sister you will truly be missed. I will never forget the love and sisterhood we shared.
