Judith E. Frederico (nee Schmitz), on August 27, 2018, of Deptford, formerly of Washington Twp. Age 70. Beloved wife of Victor L. Devoted mother of Victor L., Jr. (Laura). Loving grandmother of Annie, Celia, and Trey. Dear sister of Jack Schmitz and Elaine Pagano. Cherished aunt of Jennifer Pagano, Kristyn O’Grady, and Allison O’ Sullivan.
Judith Frederico was born on March 13, 1948 in Queens NY. She lived there for approximately 16 years until she moved to Cinnaminson NJ and then remained in the South Jersey area for the rest of her life. Judi attended Murray State University where she obtained her Bachelors Degree and then continued her education at Glassboro State earning her Masters Degree in English. She was a loving and committed English teacher at Camden County Vocational and Technical School(CCVTS) in Pennsauken NJ where she recently retired after 25 years.
Family and friends were Judi’s passion and delight. Her tremendous sense of humor was infectious, she was always making people laugh and the life of the party. Judi was a loving wife, dedicated mother and doting grandmother. Her grandchildren were pride and joy…everyone around her loved hearing her stories of their life and she loved telling them! She was an active member of her community serving on the Washington Township Town Council, NJ Democratic Party and the Heritage Board of Trustees where she lived. Judi participated in local Book Club, was an avid reader and loved to garden.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 7:00 -9:00 pm and Friday 8:15 – 9:15 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Entombment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Chews Landing. In lieu of flowers, donations in Judith’s memory may be made to the Scleroderma Foundation, Delaware Valley Chapter: SFDV 385 Kings Highway North, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
