Loving grandfather of Cindy Foy (Mike), Lauren Ruggeri (Joe), Trisha Scharnagl, Joseph Scharnagl, III (Kelli), Kim Billington (the late Scott), Stephanie Shoemaker (Jay), Brian Sprout (Alyssa), Maureen Ceci (John), Billy Lafferty, Jr. (Amy), and Bobby Lafferty (Lauren).

Proud great-grandfather of Abbie Billington, Jacob Billington, Logan Billington, Avery Scharnagl, Julia Scharnagl, Shawn Foy, Eric Foy, Johnny Ceci, Christy Ceci, Josh Ceci, Samantha Ceci, Miguel Ceci, Janice Lafferty, Alyssa Lafferty, Billy Lafferty, III, Bobby Lafferty, Jr., Tori Lafferty, and Katie Lafferty. Dear brother of David Scharnagl (Mary).

Joseph’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family due to the health crisis of COVID-19.
