Jose V. Madero

On January 27, 2021 of Washington Twp. Age 87. Beloved husband of Flor L. (nee Licht). Devoted father of Maggie Bukowczyk (Richard), Lilia Madero, Cris Woodbury (Robert), and Herman Madero (Dora). Loving grandfather of Richard Michael, Steven, Jessica, Amanda, Nicole, and Nicholas. Proud great-grandfather of Zoey, Olivia, Kenna, and Zayla. Dear brother of Julio Madero, Inez Quiroga, Alfonso Madero, and Elvira Suarez.

Our beloved Jose would have turned 88 years old, as always, he did things his way and left us one day before his birthday. He immigrated from Colombia over 50 years ago, to make a wonderful life for his wife of 65 years of marriage and children. He devoted his life to his family, enjoyed his garden,  pool time with his grandchildren and great granddaughters. Humble and proud of his family, opened his heart and home to others. His favorite pastime was watching the Barcelona soccer games, old movies and classical music. His legacy will live forever in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Saturday, January 30, 2021, 8:30-10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Jose’s memory may be made to American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034 or www.cancer.org.
