Stan Gorman left a message on October 15, 2013:
I will miss my Aunt Joann aka "Annie." She was an inspiration to all who knew her. To me, she was like a mother who guided, counseled and prayed for me through out the course of her life. What a great person! She took the time to help me as a frustrated sixth grader learn my spelling words and made me eat my brussel sprouts. Annie had a way of making you feel special because she would take the time with undivided attention to listen. I remember us sitting on the piano bench at 808 Flint Street in Fort Worth, Texas as she taught me to play chop stix. Annie was a radiant Christian who shared her faith and prayed for her family and loved ones. She was always there for me and I will miss her dearly. However, my heart is comforted and I have the sweetest consolation that we will be reunited in Heaven because our faith and trust is in Jesus Christ our Lord and Savior. Aunt Joann will be missed but she remains in my heart for ever until we meet again on the other side of Jordan where we will spend eternity together with our family and loved ones who have gone before us. Affectionately, Stanley Paul Gorman
