Howard E. Platt, on June 1, 2013, of Washington Twp. Age 80. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Pronesti). Loving father of Diane Kolls (Daniel) and Edward (Carolyn). Devoted grandfather of Robert III, Dana, Christopher, Erick and Sheri. Dear great-grandfather of Robert IV, Bella, Brielle, Ryan and Logan is on the way.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Wednesday 10:00 am – 12:00 pm at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ. Funeral service 12:00 pm. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Howard’s memory may be made to the Salvation Army, 915 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103.

I loved the way you liked to play little tricks on the grandkids, but especially how much joy you got out of them! My sadness is relieved knowing that you are now at peace with our loving Lord.

We were so sorry to learn about Howard's death. He was the epitome of a good neighbor, and we will miss seeing him outside taking good care of his home either by watering the lawn, sweeping leaves, trimming the bushes, etc. May your happy memories of your husband, father, grandfather, friend help you through this sad time.

There are so many good memories, but the best is that he made me giggle even when he was being serious. Our boat rides on the river were some of the best fun I ever had! Will never forget all the fun times. God Bless.

My favorite memory of Grandpop is the way he would tell a funny story. He would be laughing so hard before he even got to the funny part of the story, you just couldn't help it but to laugh with him. I will miss him and his laugh.
