Harlan John Cheeseman (BUTCH)

Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 8, 2019 at age 69. Proud father of Barbara (Paul), Angela, and Michael (Lauren). Loving grandfather of Laurel Ann, Julianne, Anthony, Maria, Taylor, Michael and Harlyn. Further survived by siblings Josephine McCollum, Vivian Maltese, Kevin Cheeseman, and many nieces and nephews.

After retirement from the Philadelphia Naval Shipyard of the United States, Harlan spent his time woodworking, riding his motorcycle, playing sports, volunteering with local Girl Scouts, and admiring trees all around South Jersey on his bicycle. He will be fondly remembered by family and friends as a caring father and friendly neighbor who loved spending time with his grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his graveside service Wednesday 10:00 am at the Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
