Gloria G. Ferraro, (nee Nave) on December 22, 2016, of Williamstown. Age 89. Beloved wife of the late Murray. Devoted mother of Richard Ferraro and his wife Rose (nee Rosemary Potts). Dear sister of the late Rita and Phil Ferraro and Joseph Nave. Loving aunt of Cynthia Burkeitt (James) and Brittany Rastelli (Ray). Dear cousin of Bart and Eileen Nave and many more loving cousins.

Gloria was raised in South Philadelphia and graduated South Philadelphia High in 1946. She met and married her husband Murray in 1954. They had one child Richard in 1956. Richard met his wife Rose through the Phillies in 1989. They were married and moved to Williamstown, NJ. Murray passed away in 2000 and Rich and Rose took Gloria to live with them and cared for her over 16 years.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. God bless you mom and may God hold you in the palm of his hand until we all meet again.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday 9:45 – 11:15 am at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday 12:00 PM at Our Lady of Peace Parish, Williamstown, NJ. Entombment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Gloria’s memory to VITAS Charitable Fund, 521 Fellowship Road, Suite 110, Mount Laurel, NJ 08054. Condolences may be shared with the family at www.egizifuneral.com

Aunt Gloria was like a mother to me and my family. She shared in the excitement when I got married and was there when my daughter Brittany was born. She also was there when her Brittany married and although had difficulty walking, she shared in the joy of the evening. We have too many memories to share but I will always remember vacations with the family in Wildwood Crest and her contagious laugh. Rest in Peace with Uncle Murray. Love, Cynthia

Uncle Rich and Aunt Rose, we are so sorry to hear of Gloria's passing as it leaves such a void in your life. I know she is at peace with your dad and her family and I bet she is in the kitchen making chicken cutlets her favorite! I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Mrs. Ferraro. Losing a loved one in death is so hard to endure, especially the loss of a mother. I to cared for my mom until her passing and wanted to share with you a scripture that has helped me. (Psalms 55:22) I hope it brings you some comfort along with the many memories you have of your mother.
