George H. Ellick, Sr., on January 13, 2022, of Mantua. Age 79. Beloved husband of the late Christine (nee Forte). George’s passion was being with his wife; our mom, making her happy every day. They were inseparable and did everything together. You would never see Mom without George around, they truly loved each other for the past 44 years.
George was always there for his children and grandchildren. Teaching us about cars, house repairs or simply to have a conversation. He was a jokester and loved to tease and play with his grandchildren. He was truly the best family man and dad a family could have as he was always there for us.
George was also never quick to anger or complain and was extremely a gentle kind soul. He had a great sense of humor and always knew when to be serious in a time of need. George was our dad, pop and grandpop.
You will be missed and always know how much we loved you. Rest easy dad and will see you again.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Wednesday 9:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:00 am. Interment following at Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in George’s memory to the ASPCA, PO Box 96929, Washington, DC 20090-6929.
