Grandmom was a very special lady. She had more courage and strength than her physical size displayed. I love her very much and am so greatful for the time we had together. I hope she is enjoying her big pot of coffee!

I met Mrs. Lansberry one time. She was visiting Chuck in Dallas and the three of us celebrated Chuck's birthday at a restaurant near his Corinth home. It was a great evening and she was delightful in recounting stories about her "boys". The way she laughed and teased Chuck brought back those pleasant memories of my mom. Anyone who knows her health history over the last year has to admire the strength and determination she demonstrated to all of us about never giving in to illness. The comeback she made was nothing short of miraculous. She was a true fighter. I believe all of us would gladly accept the life God allowed her to live. To the family, take comfort that she had a wonderful 91 years enjoying life to the fullest while caringly and lovingly touching so many others. I know she will be missed but she left all of you with wonderful memories and she has now taken her place in God's eternal home.
