Dottie was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She attended the Most Blessed Sacrament Catholic school until she moved to Stratford, New Jersey. After graduating Sterling High School, she received her L.P.N. from the Camden County Vocational Practical Nursing Program and went on to work at Kennedy Hospital. She eventually retired from South Jersey Behavioral Health. She met the love of her life Jim in 1987 and married in 1992. Dottie enjoyed a simple life with her family that was full of joy. To know her was to love her. There was never a time you were with her and didn’t have a good laugh. If she wasn’t putting a smile on your face, she would be genuinely concerned if your social media status changed and went out of her way to ask if everything was okay. Dottie had the extraordinary gift of making you feel loved and welcomed. She cherished her grandkids, watching her beloved Judge Judy and game shows and most of all be with her Jim. Rest in peace our sweet Mom, Mom-Mom and Deedee.
