nee Goodman On September 13, 2012 of Berlin. Age 60. Beloved wife of Richard H. Wonderful mother of Coleen D. Pasquale, Lisa M. Monaco John and Erin Shannon. Loving grandmother of Carly, Timmy and Johnny. Dear sister of Mary Hunger John and the late Joseph, James, Charles, John Goodman and Dorothy Sminkey. Donna is also survived by her dear niece and friend Sue Drew and many other loving nieces and nephews.

Donna was born on February 24th 1952 in Woodbury, New Jersey and resided in New Jersey all of her life. Donna married her high school sweetheart Rich Shannon and was married for 43 years.
Donna had three beautiful daughters Coleen, Lisa and Erin. She was very close to all of her daughters and was the happiest spending time with all of them. She also had three wonderful grandchildren Carly, Timmy and Johnny whom she cherished.
Donna was truly the happiest when spending time at the shore with her family, grandchildren and friends. She had a passion for cooking and loved to prepare meals for her family and friends. She was an avid reader her whole life.
Her dynamic personality and passion for life touched so many. Donna’s legacy is truly the number of lives she touched with her kindness, compassion and love. She is truly unforgettable.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Visitation on Tuesday September 18, 2012 8:30-11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd. Washington Twp. Memorial service 11:00 am at the funeral home. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in Donna’s memory may be made to Wounded Warrior Project P.O. Box 758517 Topeka, Kansas 66675.

A beautiful person on the outside,but so much more beautiful on the inside.She truly touched everyone she came in contac with in life.Today we truly lost our friend that was a golden one.May you rest in peace.

The world is going to be a much sadder place without Donna. It would be hard to calculate how many hundreds of peoples lives that she has touched. I think we are all very lucky to have been touched by Donna's caring and generosity. We are much better people to have known Donna. She had a knack for making everyone feel special. We lost a shining star that can't be replaced. I have dedicated a memorial poem for Donna. I have always liked this poem very much and hope Donna would approve of it. Do not stand at my grave and weep, I am not there; I do not sleep. I am a thousand winds that blow, I am the diamond glints on snow, I am the sun on ripened grain, I am the gentle autumn rain. When you awaken in the morning’s hush I am the swift uplifting rush Of quiet birds in circling flight. I am the soft star-shine at night. Do not stand at my grave and cry, I am not there; I did not die. God bless you Donna

If tears could build a stairwell and memories were a lane, I would walk right up to Heaven and bring you home again. No farewell words were spoken no time to say good-bye . You were gone before I knew it, and only God knows why. My heart still aches in sadness, and secret tears still flow. What it means to lose you, no one will ever know. Miss you, Aunt Donna

So glad that we had a chance to visit with your mom down the shore. What an amazing woman she was! So full of life and happiness, even after all she had been through. My sincer condolences and love.

Donna was well loved by many friends and family. My deepest sympathies go out to Rich, Colleen, Lisa and Erin. I have known Uncle Rich all my life and know how devastated he is and how much he will miss his wife and how much the girls will miss their Mom. I am so sorry for this terrible loss.

Aunt Donna, Words can't express how much we will miss you. You will always have a special place in our hearts. As hard as it is for us to not be be with you, we know you are now resting and will look over us always. I love you!

with my deepest condolences, Donna made everbody's life that she touched happier and better. She loved her family so much. And I will miss her.

I am so deeply saddened to learn of Donna's passing. I feel very fortunate to have seen Donna in my office only several weeks ago. She was vibrant and happy. Sometimes we'll never fully understand why things happen as they do. I do know though that I'm grateful and will remain touched to have known Donna, and I so enjoyed sharing laughter and conversation with her.

I wanted to express my condolences to all of you. Remember the good times you shared with your mom. I know she is wathcing you all know. I will continue to keep you all in prayer during this time. May God bless you all.
