Catherine E. Lampassi-Ashe (nee Tierney) On June 19, 2018 of Deptford, formerly of Pennsauken. Age 77. Beloved wife of Robert Ashe. Catherine E. Lampassi-Ashe
(nee Tierney) On June 19, 2018 of Deptford, formerly of Pennsauken. Age 77. Beloved wife of Robert Ashe. Devoted mother of Joseph Lampassi, Cherryl Leonardo, Jeffrey Lampassi and Colleen Lampassi. Loving grandmother of Gianna, Charles, Jr., Deanna, Summer, Francis and Nicolette. Proud great-grandmother of Josephine.
She dedicated her life to her family and was very selfless. To her grandchildren, she was much more than just a Grandmother, she was one of their closest friends. A truly remarkable and intelligent woman who furthered her education as she raised her four children, two of which are special needs. She has had many accomplishments throughout her career as an educator and director. Even after retirement, she continued to work up until her passing. She loved to read, lay on the beach, and spend time with her Babes. She will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and those whose hearts she’s touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 11:30 am-1:30 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 1:30 pm. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Catherine’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Rd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

I had good times knowing Cathy for years at St John of God, and the times we spent schlepping over to Jefferson to speak with Dr Jackson's students about our experiences as parents of disabled children. Was great to see her again when she was doing work with the Arc and I was a Board member. She always had a smile !
