(nee DeNardo) On August 26, 2016 of Washington TWP. Age 81. Beloved wife of Francesco A., Sr. Devoted mother of JoAnn Haines (Richard) and Francesco A. Sasso, Jr. (Erin). Loving grandmother of Danielle (Patrick), Lauren (Kevin), and Samantha (Mark). Dear sister to Phillip, Raymond, Isadore, Romuldo DeNardo, and Grace Sherry. Proud great-grandmother of Aidan and Lucas. Dear sister-in-law of Vincent Sasso and Grace DeAngelo. Beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews. Beloved aunt to many nephews and nieces.

Carmella always thought of others before herself. She was always there for family and friends. If you wanted an honest assessment, “Millie” would tell it like it is. However, she did keep secrets. For instance, “Sassy Sasso” liked to overlook small details for her meatball recipe. Her meatballs were always the best-not wrapped too tight. She had witchy way with numbers and loved going to the casino and watching football. The life of the party to say the least will continue forever in our hearts.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 9:00-10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 AM at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, Washington Twp. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Carmella’s memory may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1415 Route 70 East, Suite 502, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
