Dr. DiPrimio was a great teacher and an even greater man. He led by example and was a tremendous help to me when needed. He allowed me to teach the students in his HURM program at Holy Family and I will be forever grateful for knowing such an outstanding individual.

Anthony and I were brothers-in-law. But in realty, the key word is brothers. He was a wonderful person to have as a brother and friend. In my teen years he introduced me to things like tripe at the South Philly Grill, roast beef at Nick's, and target shooting at the range. While he was attending Villanova Law School he accompanied me to a meeting with the dean to argue for my admission to the undergraduate school. He was a true friend who brought happiness to me and to countless others. Rosemary and I will surely miss him. God bless you.
Dr. DiPrimio was such an influential piece of the HURM program at Holy Family University. I know I can speak for many when I state he will be deeply missed. Hoping his family can find comfort in all their memories of him. Rest in peace Dr. DiPrimio.
I will ALWAYS remember with great fondness the joy and laughter and humor Anthony created for all of us at family occasions, whether to celebrate my college graduation or so many weddings, milestone birthdays and reunions. There is only ONE Godfather, Anthony DiPrimio. He's now tell tell jokes and educating all those who have passed before him and who he now joins. God Bless him.
Dear Di Primio Family,
Just today,Sept 8th, I read in the LaSalle Alumni Magazine, of the passing of Tony. I worked with him in the mid-seventies at the Federal Reserve bank of Philadelphia and shared an office with him for two years. We worked on self-instructional training materials for new hires to the bank. Tony was a significant influence on me in several ways--- he taught me how to navigate the treacherous waters of corporate politics, he was responsible for my interest in wine and great food , and he had abroad range of renaissance-type interests in culture, history and art. he became a big "brother" to me in those two years and I never forgot his influences. While I had not seen him in many years,my memories of him linger to this day as one of several people who influenced me in my growth as a professional long after I left the Fed for Wall Street, a decision influenced by him which significantly impacted my professional career.
May God have mercy on his soul

My dad is alive. He is well, at peace, and joyful. He is in the presence of the Father Almighty. He has looked upon His Son, Jesus Christ, seeing firsthand the marks He bore for him. My dad is beginning to understand the depth of His love, and I can only imagine the scene that he entered the moment he was delivered from this life. In his final six months here, my dad learned what really mattered: not accomplishments, of which he had many, but the deep, caring love of his family, peace and hope, and a real relationship with the One who created him, bled and died for him, and brought him to his heavenly Father. He called on Jesus to be his Lord and his Savior, and so, today, my dad lives according to what the Lord Himself spoke, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live; and whosoever lives and believeth in me shall never die” (John 11:25-26). And also, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6). But also, as Dad said, "When all you have is Jesus, you realize that Jesus is all you need." May we find comfort in knowing my dad took all this to heart - and so, he lives! And God bless my mom, who was there for all 60 years of their marriage, caring for him - for better, and for worse. May the Lord comfort her beyond all measure.

The last time I saw Uncle Anthony, we were talking about our different treatments we were going through, he looked at me with a big smile and said "Ahhhh, we have nothing to complain about!" A fighter til the end. Aunt Ellie, Denise, Victor, Nick, Tony and Dawne, I hope you can find comfort knowing in knowing he is at peace. We are so sorry for the loss of such a great man, and thinking of you.
Love, Marla and Steve DeFusco
Tony was a kind man who welcomed me to Holy Family and helped me to learn from him so that I could carry the work he began. We will all miss him.

Unfortunately, I really did not get to know my father-in-law, "Dad", as much as I wanted to. But, in the short time that I got to know him, I realized how much I loved him. Anthony, "Dad", was a wonderful man whom I truly admired and had the utmost respect for. He was a fabulous father to his two children, a dedicated, loving husband to his wife, and a great role model to his students and for everyone who got to know him.
I always enjoyed our conversations. We would talk about literature and history, which are two of my favorite subjects, and "Dad" always taught me something new that I did not know. I learned so much from talking to him, because he was so knowledgeable in so many different topics.
Furthermore, I always enjoyed riding together to Delaware to see Denise, Victor, and Nick. "Dad" liked to sit in the back seat and be chauffeured, so he would allow Tony to drive. As we were riding along, he would serenade us with a wide variety of songs ranging from Italian ballads to silly songs like "Oh Susanna!" and "Danny Boy", my personal favorite (only when he sang it). I loved it, and he knew that I loved it, so he would sing for us practically for the entire drive there.
Finally, I just want to say that Anthony, "Dad", is in a much better place than we are. He is with Jesus Christ in heaven and is no longer suffering. He fought bravely as long as he could, and the end of his earthly life was tragic. He is now able to enjoy his new life in the presence of God, and I am very happy for him. Unfortunately, we are expected to continue our lives here on earth without him, which is going to be a difficult task for those loved ones he left behind. But, I know in my heart that I will see him again one day when my time on earth is finished, and I shall look forward to it.
May God bless each and every person who loved and knew my father-in-law, Anthony, "Dad".
Love,
Dawne
Dr. DiPrimio was such a sweetheart who always put his students first. I am thankful to have been one of his students, and to have known him. He will be missed, but never forgotten at Holy Family! Keeping him and his family in my prayers!
Having had Dr. DiPrimio as a professor while pursing my MBA @ Temple University, I was pleasantly surprised to learn he was on the search committee when I interviewed for the position of HR Director with Holy Family University 15 yrs ago. He told me years later that he provided a positive, personal reference that certainly helped me secure the job! I will also forever be thankful to Dr. DiPrimio for the opportunity to develop the Applied Comp/Benefits/Retirement Plans course for Holy Family University's HR Master's degree program and for his open invitation to teach the course as my schedule permitted.
Loved by his students and respected by his peers, Dr. DiPrimio will certainly be missed by all of us in the Holy Family community.

Dr. DiPrimio was an absolute professional and a great teacher. I had the pleasure of being his student as an undergrad then again in the masters program almost a decade later! He will be missed and always remembered !
Dr.D was awesomeeeee. He always had a joke and dared you not to laugh. His wife always in the back holding him down. We are going to miss you Dr.D. Always in our hearts class of 2014 Noellllllll
Sande and I are deeply saddened to hear Tony has died. You have our condolences and we will say a few prayers for him, you and your family. In our last conversation, he told me he was ready. He was a great man of accomplishment, but the most extraordinary thing he was, was a wonderful person and the epitome of a gentleman. I admired him more than any associate I have ever had the privilege to work with. I know he is with God and is in a far better place. If we ever can do anything for you and your family, we are eager to do so.
Mrs. Diprimio and family. I am so sorry for your loss. In the few times I spent with your husband and father in his home was a pleasure. Even though he was in pain and not feeling well he always had a smile on his face and would ask me how I was doing. I can tell what a great man he was. It was an absolute pleasure to have known and met him and his wonderful wife and daughter. God bless you all and may he rest in peace with no more suffering.
