First let me say how very sorry I am for the loss of your dear loved one Alphonse. Tough I never had the privilege to meet him, reading about his life gave me a glimpse into the great loss you all are suffering. Please know that Jehovah God never purposed for us to suffer the pain of sickness and death. To give us comfort and hope He gave His dear son Jesus and many Bible promises. Such as Isaiah 33:24, which promises that sickness will be gone forever! John 5:28-29 promises that our loved ones who have passed away are in God's memory waiting for His son Jesus to call them back to life! What a wonderful time that will be! In time if you would like to know more about God's promises please visit jw.org. Again I am so sorry.

The Lord has chosen his son to return home. For anyone to have known Alphonse and called him friend it is heartbreaking, but for heaven they gained a great one for sure. There are few words to describe the feeling of sorrow,or loosing touch here and again through the years, but there are plenty of words to describe the many memories. Memories that began in our formidable years and helped make us into who we were then, and in part who we would become. You forever will be my friend, classmate, and a partner in crime. ......Thank you to your parents for sharing your amazing soul with the rest of us. Rest in peace.
