On 9/11/01 343 FDNY Firefighters, 23 NYPD Police Officers, and 37 Port Authority Officers perished during the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This year marks the 17 year anniversary of this event and it is important for us to never forget those that died that day. Not to mention, the countless other first responders that have passed away due to medical related illness linked to the events on 9/11 and the recovery that took place for years after. Please join the Washington Township Fire Department for a ceremony that memorializes all those that lost their lives on 9/11, especially the First Responders. Information can be found below. Light refreshments will be provided by the Egizi Funeral Home.
