My first time meeting Pop-Pop was about 8 yrs ago going to one of Dylans HS Football games with Sarah. We were leaving the field and I reached to grab his chair from him to help take it to his car as we were leaving. He ripped the chair back from my hands and said “I got it.” Lol. It was that stubborn determination I saw to stay alive the last few years. He battled more than just about anyone I ever met. It’s that will to live I will always remember him for. RIP PopPop
