William R. Zearfoss

On July 20, 2025, of Erial. Age 73. Beloved husband of Maryann (nee Burkhardt). Devoted father of Julia Flamma (Sam), James Zearfoss (Luz), and the late William Zearfoss. Loving grandfather of Anastasia, Samuel III, Nicholas, and Jacob. Loving son of the late Elizabeth Dobleman.  Dear brother of Charles Zearfoss, Linda Zearfoss, George Dobleman, Dan Dobleman, the late James Zearfoss, and John Dobleman. Loved by nieces and nephews.

Zig lived his life for his family.  He was part of the 1969 Hall of fame football team for the Gloucester City Lions.  His favorite thing was hanging out with his grandkids!!!  Zig will be remembered as a humble, simple man whom everybody loved.

Family and friends are welcome to attend his viewing Friday, July 25th 9:30 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:00 AM. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

Zig touched so many lives. We first met Julie, Jimmy, Maryann and Zig back in 1984 when we moved across the street from them and to us they became friends who became like family. We will always remember him for being a Great neighbor and friend he was very easy to talk to especiallywhen it came to Phillie and Eagles. Zig always looked out for The Gutowiecz clan. I will always remember Zig after cutting the grass or whatever he was doing outside he would than be sitting outfront with his am/fm radio a drink and listening to the Phillies.
