William A. Watts, Sr.
On Saturday June 25th, William A. Watts, Sr. (Bill) passed away suddenly at the age of 73. Bill was born on March 12, 1949 in Philadelphia, PA and was the only child to William and Lillian Watts. He attended Olney High School before serving his country in the U.S. Army and later attended LaSalle University.
Bill was a wonderful husband to Cathy, a loving father/ father-in-law, an adoring grandfather, a devoted brother-in-law, a doting uncle and a loyal and cherished friend to all who knew him. A Corvette, Civil War and sports enthusiast, he reveled in his family and was always happiest when he was with them. He lived a wonderful life which ended too quickly and will be greatly missed by all those he so deeply impacted.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Cathy, his son’s Billy (Eileen) and Stephen (Ann-Marie), his 5 grandchildren – Elizabeth, Tyler, Nicholas, Zachary and Michael and his brothers and sisters-in-law Karen (Tom), Anna, Roland and Marty (Eileen). He is also survived by his loving Aunt Marlene and his furry companion/shadow, Milo.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday 9:30 AM- 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Celebration of Life service 11:00 AM. Bill’s family will be there to welcome friends and relatives.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Bill’s memory may be made to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation of Philadelphia.
