Warren S. Bush, on August 6, 2023, Washington Twp. Age 90. Born on February 10, 1933, in Cleveland OH, to Harriet and Wallace Bush. He attended Kent State for 1 year before being called to serve in the Army. He was stationed at Ft. Hood in Texas, where he met the love of his life, JoAnn Camp. They were married on June 4, 1955 and were blessed to be married for 58 years before she went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2013. Warren left the Army after 3 years of service. Shortly after being discharged, he found a job with TWA. He worked there for 30+ years. On December 26, 1967, he and JoAnn adopted their only child, Melinda. He was an active member of St. John’s UMC until recent years. He was a volunteer EMT for the Washington Twp. Ambulance Squad for 14 years. He was also an active member of The American Legion Post 521. He started the Bible study at Cardinal Village in Washington Twp. and eventually moved into Cardinal Village in 2015.
Warren leaves behind his daughter Melinda Leonard and son-in-law Mark (who was like a son to him). He also is survived by 3 grandchildren-Brad, Kate Winn (Aaron) and Jason, as well as his stepbrother, John Neuenschwander (Lucy).
His grandchildren will always remember how he loved to play games with them. He will be remembered for his welcoming smile, sincere kindness and care, love for his family and his gentle spirit. May he be remembered for his faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and his desire for everyone to know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior.
Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Friday 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Saturday 9:30 – 10:30 am at St. John’s Church, 149 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ 08012. Funeral service Saturday 10:45 am at the church. Interment Gloucester County Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Warren’s memory may be made to St. John’s Church at the above address or Washington Twp. Ambulance and Rescue Association, 4 Willow St., Turnersville, NJ 08012.
