Jean was a “fashionista” before the term was in vogue. She was always one step ahead of the trends and always had a classy style. While she worked full time at Bell of Pennsylvania 30-plus years, while raising four children, she somehow managed to always have a home-cooked meal on the table and was never too tired to drive her kids to football games or Friday night dances. She loved her religion and novenas to the Blessed Mother. She saw Johnny Mathis every chance she could get, was a member of his fan club and truly believed that he signed her birthday card each year. She enjoyed vacationing down at Wildwood with her mom and dad, along with her sister’s family. She enjoyed traveling with her husband and socializing with their long-time friends. The times she cherished most were the ones where she was surrounded by her family, though.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Tuesday 7:00-9:00 PM and Wednesday 8:15-9:15 AM at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Tunersville, NJ. Mass Wednesday 10:00 am, Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish/Our Lady of Lourdes RCC, Glassboro, NJ. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield.
Donations in Virginia’s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 3 Eves Drive, Suite 310, Marlton, NJ 08053.
