Vincent Botta
On January 15, 2022 of Mantua. Beloved husband of the late Suzanne (nee D’Antonio). Devoted father of Rosemarie Cunningham (Anthony Bernard), Vincent Botta, Jr., and Enrico Botta (Sara). Loving grandfather of Anthony Benaiah Cunningham, Auresa Briannah Pearson (Eric Qwentan Pearson), Arric Boaz Cunningham, and Mira Rose Botta. Proud great-grandfather of Eric Qwentan Pearson, III. Dear brother of the late Joseph Botta.
Vincenzo (Vincent) was a builder by trade working as a general contractor and stone mason, he also spent time as a tailor and working with his passion in the theatre arts. He acted and directed on stage for theatre productions and contributed to local theatre as a set builder and acting mentor. He graduated from Bessie V. Hicks school of dramatic arts and was also a member of the lions club.
He was an entrepreneurial spirit with his own construction company, theatre arts business and restaurant ventures. He was also a veteran of the United States Army.
He spent his time dreaming, and exploring creative arts often writing, sketching, painting and making home videos. He consumed vast amounts of movies and adored film. He had a green thumb and kept a garden ranging from tomatoes to pumpkins. He loved his family and doing simple things like shopping on Sundays and going to family gatherings. He cherished times he spent as a youth and as an adult with his “brothers” in Atlantic City New Jersey. Life was his stage and he performed only his way with fire and passion all of his life.
Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Saturday, February 26, 2022, 10:30 – 11:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Funeral service 11:30 AM.
