Vincentina M. Ruggeri “Vinnie”
On April 2, 2022 of Philadelphia. Age 76. Dear sister of Domenic and Louise Ruggeri. Cherished aunt of Nicholas and Nicole Ruggeri and William and Karen Ruggeri. Loved by great nieces and nephews; Ali and Nick Walker, Alyssa, Alaina, and Domenic and great, great nephew and niece, Gavin and Eloise.
Vinnie, as an adolescent, became an avid reader, which continued throughout her entire life. While in college, she started her teaching career at Stella Maris Parochial School, and then after acquiring her master’s degree, went on to Kirkbride Elementary School in Philadelphia, where she taught seventh and eighth grade math and English until she retired.
She truly enjoyed her season passes at the Forrest and Walnut Street theaters. Her summers were spent at the shore going to the beach in North Wildwood and enjoying socializing around the pool.
Vinnie truly loved her family and looked forward to family celebrations. Her favorites were Thanksgiving and Christmas. She especially enjoyed Christmas Eve mass, with the family, followed by dinner and Pollyanna. Vinnie was always strong in her faith and is now at peace.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 9:00 – 10:30 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM at Church of the Incarnation, 240 Main St., Mantua.
