Charlene Grosso left a message on April 9, 2014:
Our family will never be the same without my father-in-law Vince Grosso. He was the glue that held our family together. Never a day went by without him calling us and checking in as he would say. His love and concern for his family was and always will be greatly appreciated. He made me feel protected and gave our family a sense of stability just knowing that he was there for us. He gave us all that he had to give. Even on his death bed he told me to tell everyone that they have his support. I asked him what can you possibly do from a hospital bed? Just get well and be at peace. He said I can give them my Spirit. Vince Grosso was an exceptional man, father, father-in-law, brother, son, husband, civic leader and grandfather. I am very proud to have had such a wonderful father-in-law and could not have had better. Yes, a part of me is lost without him and he will be greatly missed. But he gave me his spirit and I know that he is looking down on us and watching over us from a better place. Rest in peace Vince, as far as I am concerned you did a great job on earth and deserve to be in paradise. Charlene Your daughter-in-law
Dr. Gerald J. Luongo left a message on April 8, 2014:
Vincent and I met early on in the 1970’s when we served on the Washington Township Board of Education. Vince was a dedicated and committed public servant who gave of his time and talent to the community. Throughout my public life in the Township, I could always depend on Vince for his honest opinions and advice. Although we did not always agree politically, we were good friends who held sacred the goals of service to the community. He was a great supporter in my battle to build the Señor Center that did reach fruition and has served the community well. His journey through life was a good one and now it is time to rest in peace. God Bless Vincent and his family. Washington Township has lost a good man.

Uncle Vince was a good man and loved his family with all his heart. When I was twelve years old and my family lived with Vince and Agnes, he was a caring and ever present source of strength and support. I'll always remember him playing Ray Conniff records and how I loved listening to them. Blessings to Uncle Vince, Aunt Agnes, Vincent and Michael.

To the Grasso Family, My condolences on the passing of Vincent. Although I did not Know Mr. Grasso personally, I I saw or heard him at the Washington Twp. Council and school board meetings, in addition to his written opinions in the Op-Ed section of the Newspapers. While I may not have always agreed with his viewpoint or suggestions, I admired Him for his tenacious character and his up to date knowledge and intellect. He personifies what a Senior Citizen should strive for - continuous mental and social Participation. Actually, he should be a model for any age group ; to exercise the Rights that we Americans are privileged to possess, that being the Freedom of Speech And Participation in a Democracy form of Government. I know that you will remember him as a Loving Family Man. Washington Township has lost a Voice. My thoughts & prayers to you. N.H., Washington Twp.
