Tony A. Carlino, 34, of Washington Township, passed away suddenly on December 18, 2021. Beloved son of Louis A. and Rita M. (nee Adduci) Carlino. Dear brother of Crystal Carlino (Matthew Scarduzio) and Leanne Leopardi (John). Cherished uncle of Gabriella, Stella, Matthew and John. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Tony graduated Washington Township High School in 2005 and pursued a career as an electrical lineman. To further his career, Tony attended Henry M. Rowan College of Engineering and graduated Cum Laude in 2019. He received employment with JPC Group, Inc. as a Project Engineer, and was wrapping up a 2-year project on the Walt Whitman Bridge.

Every summer Tony looked forward to gardening, especially growing peppers. He also enjoyed time on the beach. He loved spending time with family, friends, and had a love of animals.

Tony will be remembered for his caring heart, compassion, kindness, and for a smile that could light up any room.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing Sunday December 26^th 5:00 – 7:00 pm and Monday December 27^th 8:45 – 9:45 am at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Monday 10:30 am at The Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment SS. Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.

Tony, Rita, Crystal and Leeann, We literally just found out about little Tony this week (He’ll always be little Tony us!). I am so very sorry for this great loss! I cannot imagine how all of you are navigating through this situation. I am sorry we did not know sooner. We are all in shock and I don’t even know what to say. But I will pray for all of you. Vinnie would run into Tony every now and then. He hadn’t seen him for a while and was trying to get in touch with Tony and came across this news. I’ve been thinking of all of you and my mind goes back to all the fun times on Woodcrest Ave when Tony and Vinnie were best little friends and then also all the parties at your house when we all moved over to Jersey. I am truly sorry to hear this news. Tony was a tremendous soul. I had 5 classes with him and always found him to be sincere and genuinely great person to hang around with. My best times in school I always reflect on the classes I had with him. He was truly unique and I hope he is forever at peace. He will be truly missed. One of the best people I have ever known.

Unfortunately I am not on social media and was unaware of the passing of this beautiful soul. We spent much time talking about life and recovery along with how to live life on life’s terms. I loved Tony like a son and I will pray for your family ?

Tony ,I think about you everyday. After working as your electrical subcontractor on the Walt Whitman Bridge project for a year and a half we communicated on a daily basis and many times multiple times a day. You told me about just starting out on your new career path and I just would like to say that after the year and a half I knew you would be successful in your new career! I enjoyed working with you and enjoyed watching you learn and grow! God bless my friend and may your soul rest in piece! My condolences to your family and friends. God Bless!

I don’t even know where to begin! I am heartbroken to say the very least. These past few weeks have been some of the hardest I’ve ever experienced knowing you are no longer here. We have been through so many ups and downs, good times and bad, and definitely some of the best times of my life. You were so passionate and funny, kind and sincere, and one of the most infuriating men I have ever cared for! I wouldn’t change a thing about you. Tony was in almost all the classes that I taught at Rowan University. He was also part of my senior engineering clinic team with Dr. Dusseau. He always worked so hard and it was fun having him in my classes. He was also a good friend and I find it hard to believe that he is gone. I will miss him dearly. My heartfelt condolences to his family during this difficult time.

May God give you the strength to transition from mourning your loss to celebrating Tony’s life and the love that you shared. So sorry for your loss.

I’m in so much disbelief writing this. Tony, you always were (& forever will be) my big cool older cousin who I looked up to. When I was little I often bragged about my big cousin Tony and admired you so much. I will always admire you and your deep love and compassion for family and the intentional time you talked with every single person at family gatherings. I will miss your smile, laugh, jokes, and just overall infectious and kindhearted personality. You’ll forever be in my heart and I will hold you close. Give Grandmom and Aunt Adele a big hug for me ♥️ Love you.

Tony was a member of my junior/senior engineering clinic team. He was extremely enthusiastic and hard working. I can still remember Tuesday and Thursday afternoons when he would arrive for meetings with a smiling face and a “hello Dr. D.” I will miss him greatly. My wife and I lost our son Robert who died suddenly 12 years ago. We wish we could tell you that the pain eventually goes away, but that is not true. However, hopefully you will eventually learn to live with the pain and to find a way to move on with your lives as we have done.

Tony is someone who touched our lives everyday. It was a joy to have him be a part of our Civil Engineering family at Rowan University. I had the good fortune of bumping into him frequently during his clinic course sessions with Dr. Dusseau. He was such a respectful and cheerful individual. A very sad loss for all of us. Our hearts are heavy and we are sad for his family. May they find the strength to bear this loss and find comfort in the memories he left behind.

Tony was always such a good friend to talk to.. He will be greatly missed by many. My condolences go out to his family, I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers. Rest In Peace Tony.

Worked on a few jobs with Tony. One of the nicest guys I’ve ever met got along with everyone. He will be deeply missed by all the people he worked with.
