I just found out about Mr. Nicoletti. I was in China when this happened so I didn't know. I was failing Algebra and I didn't have a clue about how to do anything with it. Mr Nicoletti stayed with me every day after school, one on one, until I not only understood it, I liked it. I went from Fs to straight As. It was just because of the time and effort put out by this incredible caring teacher. He will be missed. Julie Midiri

I was so upset to hear about Toms death as we live next store and I will always have memories of Tome coming out and doing a lawn making it spotless and leave free my husband would always say how beautiful he kept his property and the decorations at Christmas were amazing. He was always happy in the summer getting the pool ready and opening it up and seeing him smile as his family came over with the grandkids. He was wow a terrific baker and would always bring over some cookies he made at the holidays. He will be sadly missed but take comfort that he is with the angels looking down and not suffering anymore. Mr. and Mrs. Riley

I still can't believe Uncle Tom is in Heaven but he is with family and friends and of course God. It was his time to go and when it is your time to go you have to go. I will miss Uncle Tom's Choc. Chip Cookies. He sent them thru the mail for Christmas so I got some of his Christmas Cookies. And the time we spent at the house playing games and going in the pool. You loved the pool Aunt Pat told me. I will miss the nightly phone calls to me with Aunt Pat giving me hope when I don't think I can take anymore of what I am going thru and I was giving them hope when I did not know what was to come. At least your not suffering anymore but please tell God that it is not Aunt Pat's time to go. I need her here for me and she needs me there for her. I remember when I had a sleepover and when it was time to go to bed Nan said to kiss Uncle Tom and Aunt Pat goodnite and I hid behind her because I was afraid of him and I was showing my shy side but the longer I stayed with my Aunt Pat and Uncle Tom and Nan and got to know my Uncle Tom I will miss the hugs and kisses.I know you are another Angel to add to Heaven and will be watching over us front row. You did not know this but I choose you to walk me down the aisle on my wedding day but both you and my Dad get front row seating along with the rest of our family & friends that has been called to God's House. It is going to be so hard to say goodbye and going to the house and you are not with Aunt Pat. I want to start like Maureen said we need to keep up the Sundays Dinner's,Birthdays,Get Togethers during the summer months but she too is a Angel so I guess it is our turn to step up and take over what the first generation taught us and pass it on. I can't wait to see all the family again since I have been sick myself. I hope nobody has a problem with me wearing a mask.It is for my protection and if I am sick I will also be wearing a mask so no one else gets sick. I only have to wear it at church and places where there are people that are sick. So if you see a person with the yellow mask that is me. I will try to be with your family including the grandkids once a month for family game days or sleepovers. But I will need a ride to do that. And hope they visit me so we can go to the Park for a Picnic. I will try to hang in there as long as I can. But I will miss my Uncle Tom. I just don't understand how good people have bad things happen to them and the bad people do what they want. I guess they don't realize their is a hell because Jesus stayed there for 3 days before going to Heaven. P.S. On 4/5 at 12:45pm I go for a nuclear stress test and I have a bad feeling about it so please send me a sign that everything will turn out ok with that test and the echocardiogram too. I need HOPE so I can C.O.P.E. like Aunt Pat told me to do but it is easy to say and hard to do that is why we have family and friends to help us and certainly God. But I found out that God does not answer all prayers because he has better ones like going to Heaven and that is even better. So it is a win win. So I will see you sooner or later and I will be looking for the signs from heaven that you are thinking of me. I will keep Aunt Pat and everybody closer than before and I hope they don't mind. Being in a nursing home is no fun but I make it fun and put smiles on the elderly faces an we have laughs too. Alot of them don't have family or friends come and visit them so I call Crestview my adpoted family. There are alot of people here that look like my Dad,my Uncle Steve,Aunt Rose which is kind of odd. So I will be looking for you too. People say there is a twin for everyone. I heard mine is in a Phila. Bar. as a bartender. I am glad that they decided to post your picture so when at night Aunt Pat calls me at night you will be here in spirit. Remember I love you Uncle Tom. oxoxoxox (((Hugs))) too.

Pat, Tom, Danielle, Gianna, Tim, Becky, Sarafina and Annafina......How blessed is the Nicoletti family having had Tom as a husband, father and Poppy! Tom was the "Real Deal". His passion for his family, friends, colleagues, students, profession and his pets was undeniable. He lived his life with faith, love and hope with everyone he knew. In the 48 years as friends, we never heard Tom speak an unkind word about anyone. Tom lived his life in faith, hope and love. We'll remember Tom's contagious, inviting smile. His legacy will live on through his children and grandchildren. Rest in Peace dear friend!

May the Nicoletti family find comfort in the love and prayers of all who knew Thomas. Joe and I were fortunate to be his students fifty years ago. "Mr Nic" was one of the few teachers, over all my years of education, that I could honestly call one of the best. Our prayers are with you. Joe and Janice (Nelson) Gorski. (SJHS '69)

Pat and family, many wonderful memories of Tom coming into the office and always bringing some kind of goodies he had just made, a great baker. He was a kindhearted and caring person always. He also was funny always making a joke or two or just coming in to say hi to Pat and us girls at the office we always enjoyed seeing and talking with him. I was so sorry to read this today. I went to SJHS and had Mr. Nicoletti as a Math teacher back then. What I remember, almost 50 years ago, is how smart and kind he was to his students! I was not very good at Math (but he always helped me) and as chance would have it, I, too, became a Math teacher near the end of my teaching career! I think I have him to thank for that!
