It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Thomas (Duke) McGrath of Philadelphia on July 17, 2025, he passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family. He was a beloved son, brother, dad, uncle and friend to, Thomas McGrath (Diana Wolovnick) grandfather to Owen Miles McGrath. Dear brother of Kimberly Tanner (Bob). Cherished Uncle of Bobby Tanner (Lauren) and Ryan Tanner (Alicia) Great Uncle to Dylan, Ryan, Gavin Cody a Ava. Survived by his lifelong friend Danny Lombardi. Duke was known for his kind spirit, humor and infectious laugh, and love of music. He had the gift to gab! He faced significant challenges in his life despite these struggles; Duke still tried to get it right and loved his family. His pain is over, and he is at peace now, his memory will forever be carried in our hearts.

Thomas’s life will be honored and remembered privately by his family.

Tom was a good dude, we lived together at house of adonai and a house off unity street. we used to laugh alot and talk. Hung out quite a bit. He was a good man and funny too. My deepest condolences, to your family. Ill never forget him. He always looked out for me and made sure I was doing right. Couple years later I did get it right, finally. I was looking for him to check up on him and let him know that I straightened everything out and got it right. You'll always be missed and thank you for believing in me and that I was better and deserved better. Prayers for you Tommy 🙏.

Tommy was like a brother to us Dan and I will miss him terribly my prayer for him was that he would catch the peace he was chasing for. He wanted that for himself and his family Tommy was a great guy with a huge heart and always the greatest smile
