Thomas J. Woody, on March 21, 2012, of Williamstown. Age 70. Beloved husband of Joan A. nee DeLaMater. Devoted father of Roseann Jia Edwards , Anthony E. DePalma, Elissa Tom Hill, Thomas J. Stephanie Woody, Kristine Craig Kimbark , Jeanne Donny Todd, Jon-Mikel Chelsea Woody. Loving grandfather of Danielle, Alanna, Katie, Ryan, Samuel, Elena, Julianna and the late Olivia. Proud great-grandfather of Titus. Dear brother of Robert and Dennis.
Tom grew up in Upper Darby, PA; where he attended Monsignor Bonner HS and Drexel University. He is a retired Gloucester County 911 dispatcher and was a volunteer member of Washington Township ambulance for 15 years. In the last 4 years he was a Co. Chair and COO Officer on the Board of Directors for the Washington Township Ambulance Rescue Association. He had great love for sports, especially the Phillies and Eagles. His knowledge for such was endless.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Monday 7:00 – 9:00 pm and Tuesday 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:00 am. Interment private.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Thomas’ memory to the Washington Township Ambulance Association, P.O. Box 1044, Turnersville, NJ 08012.

Tom You will be missed. I will Have great memories for the rest of my life of all the fun nights and early mornings we had at Chez Woody. From the wing nut weddings to the Gymboree setups. From the beef and beers to the night at the races. Oh, and lets not forget all of the endless nights of "just one beer before you go." They were all good times. It was you that gave me the opportunity to be the house DJ at the hall. Thanks for the memories and the great times. We may have had our differences at time but always remianed friends afterwards....RIP my friend. I raise my glass of Miller Lite to you. Joan my prayers are with you.

May GOD watch over the Woody family during this difficult time. Let GOD welcome Tom to heaven with open arms.

Dear Joan, Our thoughts are with you and your family. My wife & I met as volunteers with the Squad & it will always be dear to our hearts. With you as Captain & Tom as Head Trustee, we had great times serving our community. We all share a love for animals & not too long ago, Tom had parked his car across State Highway 42 to help an injured bird. Both personally & professionally, Tom served the injured in his roles of both 9-1-1 and EMS care. Tom & I shared similar stories of his nursing pets and other animals back to health. It says a great deal about a person. God Bless, Frank & Michelle

Tom, You and my sister shared a remarkable love. Always looking out for and taking care of each other. Love for her always showed thru even in little things, like when she is up by me for a visit, and you call to make sure she arrived and every morning to talk to her. Thank you for the special times we spent together when you both lived in Florida. I will always cherish the times in Irvington too. As brother in laws go your tops. Please know my family and I love and miss you. You know I will always watch over Joan and keep her going. Please Rest in Peace now and have all the coors lite you want while watching us from above. Joan, What can I say. You are right, Can't believe this has happened. Know that all your sisters, and all our kids are behind you. We are and will be there to get you thru this. I am so, so, thankfull for all the amazing friends you have around you. I know they will give you so much support and love also. May he rest in peace. Tom will be missed. He was the center of Chez Woody, and there will never be such a fun, accepting, comfortable hangout again. My prayers are with you, Joan and your family.

I am sorry to hear of the passing of a long time friend. Tom was a mentor of mine, who helped make me feel welcome as a member of The Washington Twp. Ambulance Association for many years. Dear Tom, Your passing was all too, too soon. I will always consider you my friend and somewhat of a mentor. I will cherish the times when we just sat and "chewed the fat" about just about anything. But mostly about the "squad". A passion for which we both shared for many, many years. You will be deeply missed. Rest my friend and be in peace.

aww miss joan, i wish i could help somehow, but i know there is nothing to do for a heart that misses its other half... tom was always soo good to me and loved to talk about anything, especially when i needed the distraction. i love you and will do what i can...

I was crazy about Tom. It was a very sad day when I learned of his passing. I will always remember him as a dear friend, and his smooth talkin charm and bottomless well of sound advice, his was always a face I was glad to see. I will truley miss you Tom, and it is with great sadness that I say goodbye to one of the best people I know. Love ya Tom!
