Stephanie Samanns, (nee Witczak), of Sicklerville, NJ, (originally of Philadelphia), age 77, passed away peacefully on March 8th, 2026 surrounded by the love of her family. Beloved wife of Robert. Devoted mother of Karen Alexander, Becky Kuonen (Mark), Robert and Brian Samanns (Andrea). Loving grandmother (Babcia) of Michael II, Jonathan, Emma, Amber, Mark Jr., Sara and April. Proud great-grandmother of Michael III, Hudson, Damon Jr., Eliane and Chase. Dear sister of Michael, Frances, and Stanley Witczak.
Stephanie lived life fully and unapologetically as her own person. She often reminded those around her that she was “not a follower,” and anyone who knew her would agree. She had a bold spirit, a sharp sense of humor, and a way of saying exactly what was on her mind — something that made people laugh and love her even more.
Her greatest joy in life was her family. She especially loved cooking and feeding those she cared about, often sharing recipes and talking about food with enthusiasm. Gathering around sharing a meal she prepared was one of the many ways she showed her love.
Stephanie enjoyed life’s simple pleasures. She loved trips to the casino to play the slot machines, watching YouTube channels about farming families, and sitting down to eat crabs during crab season. Some of her favorite moments were taking rides along the bay with her husband or going out together for a meal. At home, she appreciated the company of the cats she loved.
Stephanie will be remembered for her laughter, her honesty, her warmth, and the way she made people feel at home. Her spirit, humor, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.
Stephanie’s life will be honored and remembered privately by her family. A celebration of life will take place in the near future.
