Silvia R. Salera
(nee Liberatore) On January 30, 2025 of Washington Twp. Age 64. Beloved wife of David. Devoted mother of David Jr. (Jim), Michael (Maria), and Christian (Mollie). Loving Nonna of Coralie. Dear sister of Lea Spitaleri (Joe), Bruna Lamesta (Frank), Pina Carulli (Eddie), Giselle Liberatore, Rita Raspa (Pino), and Stefanie Mancini (John). Loved by many nieces and nephews. She loved her dog Diante and is now reunited with her dog Poppie; she also adored her grandpups Draco and Keston.
Our beloved wife, mom, Nonna, and friend, Silvia Salera, lived her life finding joy in making those closest to her smile and feel loved—a joy beautifully reflected in her own radiant smile, lighting up and warming every room she entered.
She found her perfect partner in David, who loved her unconditionally from the moment they met. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love and devotion, raising three incredible sons who were deeply close to her. She taught them the true meaning of family—supporting one another, creating a warm and loving home, and sharing boundless love.
More than anything, Silvia loved supporting and making memories with her sons, husband, and friends—from gathering around the table for a meal, creating unforgettable moments on vacation, dancing at concerts, sharing a drink to celebrate life’s special events, or cheering on her boys at games, matches, and competitions.
She always went above and beyond to fill every moment with love, making you feel truly cherished—whether through a home-cooked meal, a thoughtfully handmade wreath or piece of clothing, or meticulously planning the perfect celebration. She found pure joy in celebrating life’s milestones, pouring her heart into making graduations, weddings, birthdays, serenades, engagements, baby showers, and accomplishments unforgettable. It wasn’t just on special occasions—by simply being in her company during the most ordinary moments like sitting on the patio, she had the unique ability of making you feel deeply loved.
She loved her boys and husband more than anything in the world, holding on with unwavering strength to treasure every moment with them. Incredibly tough and selfless, she never thought of herself no matter what she faced—always putting her family and friends first, finding ways to care for them, doing what was best for them, and showering them with love. In recent months, one of her greatest joys was being the absolute best Nonna—doting on her beloved granddaughter Coralie with endless outfits, thoughtful gifts, contagious laughter, and unwavering love, savoring every precious moment.
She was truly extraordinary—fun-loving, beautiful, and one of a kind—loving us all with an effortless and profound depth. We feel blessed to have had her in our lives, and we will miss her more than words can ever describe. She was a constant light in so many lives, and her love will forever warm our hearts and guide our way. We will carry her spirit and memory with us every day, following the path she taught us—one filled with cherished memories, laughter, and love.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her visitation Monday, February 10th 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM at The Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 12:00 PM.
