Sandra Zappalorta (nee Collicchio) On August 16, 2014 of Washington Twp. Age 52. Beloved wife of Francis. Devoted mother of Valerie Martinez and her husband Bryant, Mark and Anthony Zappalorta. Loving grandmother of Christian. Dear sister of Samuel Collicchio and his wife Patricia and Anthony Collicchio and his wife Cynthia. Also survived by loving cousins and nephews.
Sandra was an amazing mother of three, grandmother of her first and only grandson. She was a great friend, neighbor, and worker. She work at UPS for 21 long years on the over night shift so she would always be home for her kids. Sandra was an animal lover. Her favorite was cats, she has 6 cats, 1 dog and a rabbit. She would have many more if we had the room for them. One of her favorite things to do was to go away, she loved Las Vegas has been there 5 times, Disney more than a dozen, Bahamas and many other places but don’t forget about good old wildwood. She had two brothers she loved dearly, many nephews and her very favorite cousin Marlene. Christmas was always her favorite time of the year she would have her light up outside way into February and our tree up for weeks after Christmas was over. She was an all around great person always loving and caring to everyone around her. She will be truly missed god has gained another angel on August 16th 2014.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 8:15-10:15 am at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment, SS Peter and Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
