Ruth McGlory
(nee Green) On July 11, 2019 of Lumberton. Age 67. Beloved wife of Francis R.C. Devoted mother of Hillary Cox and Joshua Cochran (Heather). Loving grandmother of Cody, Clayton, Michelle and Margaret. Dear sister of Dolores, Paul (Barbara) and Joanne Green and Dolly Orth (Bill). Dear sister-in-law Gail Niessen (Michael). Nieces and nephews.
Ruth was born Ruth Nadine Green in Baltimore, Maryland on March 18, 1952. She was the baby of 10 children, and she was well known for being the spoiled one. Ruth loved and cared about everyone and everything. She was fiercely compassionate about her 2 beautiful children, Joshua and Hilary, and her grandchildren, Michelle, Margaret, Cody, and Clayton. Her love and compassion reached an all time high with her husband Frank.
From teddy bears to god’s angels – Ruth loved filling her home with beautiful things to rejoice and admire in. Two of her favorite holidays were St. Patrick’s Day and Christmas. She loved her husband’s meatloaf and cheesecake. Although she had an extensive collection of games, her favorite was playing Pinochle, which she enjoyed with her husband, her brothers, and other extended family members. She loved to shop; whether it was grocery, clothing, gifts for friends/family, or to simply spoil herself.
It was her love, compassion, and naivete that made you fall in love with her over and over again.
