Robert Lalli (Jr.) left a message on June 30, 2019:
Dear Bob: So sorry to hear your mom passed. She was a gentle, caring person and I know you will really miss her. I wish I had some perfect soothing words to say that would help you bear the loss, but nothing can really stop the pain when you lose a beloved mother. It is a one of those things everyone our age experiences. Out of our Oak Avenue friends, she was the last surviving parent. You had her in your life a few years more than most of us had our moms. I'm glad you did. You can also be grateful that you had her with her full mind and not with illness or dementia. I wish I could be there for you to attend her services but circumstances won't allow it. The last time I saw her was at Frank and Judy's place 2 years ago. Although she was having trouble getting around, she was in good spirits and enjoyed seeing everyone. She was always nice to all us(now grown) kids. I hope she had many fond memories of us as kids...my own parents did and recalled you and all us kids often, particularly at the holidays. I hope Frank and Bob Bates will be there. I let Rick and Nina know too. I'm with Meg in Maine full time now and I hope to get down that way later this year (God willing). Peace to you my friend and my very deepest condolences for this very big loss. Peace to you Bob. Your friend or many years, Bob Lalli
