Ruth E. Brown (Hodinka),passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on March 4, 2013, of Gloucester Twp. Age 80. Beloved wife of Donald. Devoted mother of Donald, Jr. (Wendi), Denise Pavan (Gary), Charles (Marie Elena) and David. Loving grandmother of Nicholas, Gabriella, Samantha and Sydney. Dear sister of James (Irene), Mary Vincentech (Jordan) and the late John. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Helen and several loving nieces and nephews.

Ruth was a loving wife and mother. She was a devoted homemaker and later worked for many years at Bradlee’s in Turnersville. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 7 – 9 pm at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. and Friday 9 – 10 am at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 149 Ganttown Road, Turnersville, NJ 08012. Funeral Service 10 am. Interment Gloucester County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Williamstown.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ruth’s memory to St. John’s United Methodist Church at the above address; St. John of God School, 1145 Delsea Drive, Westville Grove, NJ 08093; or the American Cancer Society, Camden County Chapter, 1851 Old Cuthbert Road, Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.
